A fine ceramic plate decorated with a central spray of carnations and elongated tulips, their heads bowed downward towards the stem, surrounded on either side by two smaller sprays of rosette-shaped flower heads. The design is enclosed by a scallop edged motif. The back alternating with a pattern of twin tulip-heads and rosettes. The whole painted in cobalt-blue, emerald-green, sealing-wax red and black, set against an opaque white ground.
